    a decal on a NSKK-helmet?

    Hi,

    sorry, but I have only this picture. This decal is on the helmet of the organization NSKK. The material of the helmet is aluminum and I think that is a parade helmet. Is this decal original or a copy?

    This is the second one of these I have seen. The first was in the collection of early helmet collector Steve Dukes of Southern California. His was also a lightweight helmet with the decal on the front. These helmets were likely worn by guards at NSFK headquarter buildings. The one in Mr. Dukes collection was aquired in the late 1960's. I am sure this is correct.
