Sorry to spit in your soup, but something's wrong. The questionnaire is saying he joined on 1.XII.1929 (December 1st, 1929) and did not hold the GPB (Goldenes Ehrenzeichen) - nor the Blutorden. Number 4959 would have been reached probably in May 1925.

When I have all of the documentation and badge in my hands, I’ll do a fresh thread.
I did a general SEARCH, putting in the numbers 4959 and this is what came up.
I did have someone say that they were of the opinion, well, never mind.
Watch for the thread in about 5 days.
