I'm NOT a pennant expert, but I'd be surprised if it's original, because if it is, it's the sloppiest-made original pennant I've ever seen. I wouldn't buy it on that basis alone.

Nice find Ron! While the pennant has a non-standard SA rune, I have no problems with it. This would be an earlier example, not to be confused with the common ones seen everyday on dealer's sites. I picked this SA rune patch up many years ago. It was an indirect vet buy. It came with an early set of SA tabs. Note the similar stitched highlights to the corners of the "S" and the "A". My patch is also the same size as the one seen on Ron's pennant. I original thought my patch was an early SA sport's patch but it was too small.
