    Nskk case

Opinion please, case is a little over 24" long, has a red fitted interior and was made to hold what looks like a pole top, which is missing. I am having problems re-sizing the picks. I will keep trying and if I can get them smaller I will post more.

Anyone have any idea just what it is made for and value?

    Thanks

Hi Mark, Very interesting case. But it looks like it held a staff car pole. I don't understand why a pennant pole would come in such a case, but the outline sure looks like one. We need some more input.

I would say most likely a post war add-on. The NSKK emblem as shown was used on car radiator grills.

I agree Eujin. But that NSKK eagle was also used on award plaques too. The eagle is good , but I'm not sure why it would be on a case that looks like it housed a fender pole. I wouldn't think a fender pole would come in a case. Maybe a small cardboard box, but not a fancy case???

I agree - I can't imagine a fancy case for either item, unless it's some kind of presentation. If it is the same NSKK badge that was used for something different, that's a bad sign, IMO. Personally, it looks like a Christmas tree top ornament was in there previously. Maybe an NSKK tree ornament.

Thanks for the imput, guess it is difficult to place value on something that is as yet unknown. It is very well made, perhaps someone will have seen one before and solve the mystery.
