      Thank you very much !

My friend said that 1 was political, so he made a mistake. Thanks for the correct type.

He said that 2 was political (like you say too) for the NSKK. Is-it for NSKK ?

Do you think they are 3 original eagles ?

        clark76,
        All three are original.....

the 1st is a "M-38?" Gold Political (Civil Serv.) style eagle- "stubby wing version"- normally associated with Reichsbahn and Postal Service.....

The 2nd is a "M-29 Political Eagle"- common to many branches of the NSDAP and Civil organizations ....NSDAP, SA, HJ, early SS, early NSKK, DAF, etc. etc.

The 3rd is an Army Visor hat eagle- worn by officers & EM (metal version)....

None are particularily rare, having "all the pins" on the back would make a big differance on the value and desireability.....

Postal used a silver eagle, which also is a bit larger.

With the exception of the Heer eagle (no. 3), the other two were used among several organisations in the early years of the Third Reich. So depending on which year you are refering to, then that insignia will match. Eagle 1 was used by the forestry and reichpost; Eagle 2 by the early SS, HJ, NSDAP etc.

Thanks everybody for all informations, it is very interesting to learn.

These 3 eagles are the beginning of my collection, and now, i know exactly what i have. Now, with your help, i can write a description with each eagle, and i can explain people what they are.

                  Thanks a lot.
                  Best regards.

Mil, I have only seen this eagle on Reichsbahn. Postal used silver and Forestry had a more burnished look. Also where these of a bit larger design. Check the Assman catolog.
