It is all period and correct rank to tab combination. Was armband ever sewn on?

Thanks for commenting Jeff Clark. The armband was never sewn onto the uniform. As the owner received the uniform, the armband was attached with some apparently old type safety pin, which we think probably were there ever since the war.
