Hello friends!
Finally after more then 2 years of work I was able to finish and open my museum to the public here in Mannheim/Germany.
I have been collecting for over 15 years political "stuff" and all about Mannheim, SA Gruppe Kurpfalz 171 and Hj Bann 171.
The museum is in an original ww2 airraid bunker and I fixed up the top floor. The museum is mostly for the interrested person and for schools to have a place to go to when studiieng this subject. This is the first museum of its kind in our area, since mostly the subject of the Third Reich is not touched. The exhibition starts with schuette Lanz and their airships being build at Sandhofen, the WW1 display, the takeover of the Nazi Party, the persecution of Jews and unwanted persons, the school sytem , holidays and the visits of Hitler in Mannheim, the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe in Mannheim ( 5Caserns and 2 airfields JG 53 ect) The Flak aound Mannheim, The WHW , The Hitler Youth, The NSDAP, large display of Flags and Uniforms, the Bombing of the town , the war ends and the rebuild of Mannheim and then the US Army in Mannheim from 45 to 2015.
