"The various tr sports badges"? Care to be specific or are you looking for every one? Have you found any of the original German texts? I have been trying to find the first regulations for the SA Sports Badge.

some information pops up through a simple google search, maybe not so detailed but something:

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SA_Sports_Badge

Bit more detailed on wiki in geman language (can be run through various translator software)

I only knew about the SA, HJ & DRL badges (I am new at this hobby). I have not found any german texts. I was just curious as to how these badge requirements would compare to today's military PT tests. I recently found a photo of a heer soldier in full marching gear (including backpack) doing what appears to be spins on gymnastic uneven parallel bars in order to obtain an unspecified sports badge(page 30 of Brian Davis' "cloth Insignia of TR". Made my 3 mile runs & pullups in the navy 20 yrs ago look tame.....

              Hi William Eledge,

"SA, HJ & DRL badges" "how these badge requirements would compare to today's military PT tests"

The DRL is a civilian sports badge, there is nothing to compare with "today's military PT tests".

Looking on the German military "Leistungsabzeichen", the DOSB sports badge is part of the requirements.

                Sports Badge Requirements

I'm not sure about the men, but the BDM qualification required a certain number of push-ups in a cucumber patch .
