DAF collectors?

Hi,

Does anyone on the forum collect DAF items?
I have over the last few years become increasingly interested in this field, although I realise that to many collectors this organisation is very "bottom end".
As I am more concerned with the social and economic aspects of the Third Reich, I would enjoy to see any interesting DAF items forum members may have in their collections; anything at all to gain more knowledge about this organisation!

I gave up collecting DAF this year. Had quite a collection. There is some pretty neat and rare stuff in that area. Alot of thing are easy to find, but alot are hard to find. Which makes the hobby

Here's some DAF items I have - War time helpers card (w/ dues stamps as pictured above), a receipt for delivery (fairly common), and a temporary ID card for a DAF instructor, also have over 60 DAF letterhead documents (most deal with transportation problems) Unfortunately no uniform items, I've seen a lot of them in the Die Deutsche Wochenschau, but never on the market.

As well as this, almost all DAF related: Special Training School passes (bottom right), Little ID card is a transport card (for hauling some sort of special freight), also a DAF contributions card, School authorization slip, and the two items on the left are apart of the WHW charity drive

Inside of the DAF dues book, the left (on top) inside cover is a three paged pamphlet dictated the rules of the book's use. The right listed his name and address in Wien (Vienna). There is a post war paper which was included in the book which states his new address in Vienna, along with dues stamps which extend from 1947 to 1951.

Thanks for posting your paper items!
Like youself, paperwork seems to be the prevalent surviving items assosiated with the DAF.
Would like to see uniforms etc: but this would seem to be a wish rather than fact.
Probably most uniforms etc, were converted to civilian use after the war.

Perhaps this "DAF" buckle may be of interest as an oddity addition to your data-base. Do not ask though, as I have no clue whatsoever about this pebbled and non "rivet corner" buckle. There are similar buckles in collections and up until now, examples are known by both Dr. Franke and Overhoff.
