If so, the color of the tunic is probably the olive color of the Wehrmannschaft. Do the breeches match in color? The tunic appears to be an issue piece while the breeches are tailor made. The boots are not correct for this tunic and are similar to those worn by pupils in training schools, but not the same. My guess is that the tunic was an unissued piece or was issued and worn without insignia (as documented in photos) and was subsequently, more recently, decked out with the tabs and boards. The breeches may or may not have been married to the tunic, and the boots are not related. Depending on the price, it might still be worth picking up the group.

                  SA wehrmannschaft uniforms

I am perplexed? I see wehrmannschaft uniforms that are more green than brown and others that are more brown than green. Was it olive brown or olive green or what they had on stock. Just like Wehrmacht uniforms, not all shades are the same? My friends SA wehrmannschaft M1943 cap, is two different shades of olive brown.

If I remember well is the right color more olive green called "Mantel tuch III" =

"greatcoat cloth 3" so it's the same color as the SA overcoat...

                    to compare ...

Collar of the "Mantel" has the regular SA Tunic color and breches,
                    the overcoat is SA-Wehrmann color

That's correct--it's hard to show the color difference on digital images, but the Wehrmannschaft jackets, trousers, breeches, and headgear were definitely less brown and more olive colored than standard SA uniforms, which were made of SA wool color II.

                        SA colors

Where can I find out more about the different SA colors? SA wool color II and the olive green of the Mantael tuch III?
