I am hoping this is a good one, picked up a few days ago, did not pay alot for it.

There is a stamp on the front, cant really see it very well, i am told it reads

    " Preußischer Landes-Krieger-Verein "

    and the inner ring reads

    " Krieger-Verein Vilsen U "

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated !!

The SA did stamp armbands regardless of type of band, other formations also i believe, nothing wrong with this one, Sean

                Armband

I agree - original armband. This style was worn by the SA, but other groups as well, as others have said. The stamp's text translates loosely to "Prussian country's fighting organization". I'm not sure what that means in relationship with the SA, though.

It's an armband for use by a veteran organization: In this case the Prussian Regional Warrior Association and the local post for the towns of Vilsen and ??? (can't make out the other town name.)

                  Best regards,
                  Tom
