'30-'40's stickpin?

This stickpin should be German, '30's-'40's. I've never seen it before, it doesn't have any marks on it or other symbols to identify it.

Does anyone know if this is third reich period and what it means?

I think it's a bee-keeper's association, but don't know the period.
