NSKK Tunic question

    NSKK Tunic question

    Hello ,

    I need some help with this tunic.
    NSKK Dienstrock. Is it legit? It looks ok to me.

    Would there be interest for such an tunic without any insignia?

      I'm pretty sure that its an Org.Todt tunic based on design and wool color.
      NSKK btw always had chocolate brown collars (like RAD) so that branch can be ruled out!

      Based on that I'm saying OT and Org.Todt (upper) sleeve bands were always machine stitched on
      (+ swazi armband often worn loose)
      Note red: are these stitch lines?

          I will look for the stitch lines and pm you about this.

          I first thought allready that NSKK tunic's only have the brown collar's. But I saw one like this listed at Weitze as NSKK.

            Weitze is describing this is a theatre property stamped garment... so that tells me its probably restored...
            In other words the insignia was post war added... This one is not NSKK either... as far as I can tell...
            Another OT one? Its in a totally different cut with permanent open V neck collar...
            maybe RMBO? General Gouvernement?? (with wrong buttons and wrong insignia??)

            Perhaps it never ever had shoulder boards to begin with... Look at the odd position of the shoulderboard?? and collar tabs zig-zag stitched like this??? (as well as the raute...)

            I have never ever encountered NSKK tunics without the chocolate brown collar!

              photo by nick ,kinda looks like RMBO ,as he stated. most likely out of russia , hence the theater marking. Sorry I do not own either uniform to post photos.
