Not really sure what that is supposed to be (is that a seagull, an albatross perhaps?) but it would be very difficult for me to accept this as an original period item.

Just as I suspected - uninformed and boorish comments from the intellectually disabled on steroids. My dear boy (read as an English colloquialism); had you actually READ your schoolbooks, instead of doodling on them, you would not only recognize the specific avian species, but notice it's uncanny resemblance to Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
