Just some thoughts, seems Arran needs to explain his unwillingness to contact the Austrian authorities ?

These guys are not in Austria, but near to it (not near Vancouver!). I'm sorry you think its shameful that I won't disclose all the information here, but I have to think of my "informant" and future access to this information. How about just being grateful that I even told you these badges are copies? I could just as easily have left you in darkness...

You made a claim of having actual knowlege to prove these badges are fake. Your statement still leaves me and the rest of the WAF "in darkness". I am not "grateful", because you utterly failed to back up your incredible claim that the "Austrian" Fuess GPB not only was a fake, but could be ordered for any NSDAP number, and you could provide details. Your "future access" would be compromised? What about the rest of us suckers? Talk is cheap. Buy some today.
Thanks for nothing.

Gary, I never promised any "details" other than the remarks I already made. I have, in the past, provided further information such as names and locations to people on WAF via PM, but I find your tone so sarcastic and facetious that I would be hard-pressed to help you any further...good luck with your collecting!

What is the help that you are providing? Making claims you cannot back up. Your promise of no further help is rather meaningless.

These badges may very well be fake. All I am asking is to be an "educated collector", which is why I joined the WAF. The "education" that I am receiving to understand why these are considered to be fakes is still totally absent.
