    SA tent plane

i understand this was issued to an sa trooper, from the stamp. the poncho i believe is an early reichswehr pre m.31 camo zelt-its 160 cms square and dull grey in colour, with eight zinc buttons each side, both sides of the plane. no head hole.
i hope this part of the forum may do this item justice.any info on the unit or the item would be happily received.

            SA Map

Jill Holcomb's book, "The SA - A Historical Perspective" (Crown/Agincourt Publishers Copyright 1985) has a map on page 266 that shows today's German cities and a comparison list of SA Gruppes. IMO, it'd be very difficult to have a map that shows all the SA companies. There were just too many. The books shows SA Gruppe Hessen in the city of "Koblenz", located in far western Germany, between Dusseldorf and St. Ingbert/Saar.
