winter-bleu SA uniform?

Hello guys

i was wondering...

i've heard about this ultra rare "winter-blue" uniform for the SA

i've seen only one picture of it... but it doesn't give me a lot of information

can anyone give me some info or pictures of this uniform.

i searched the forum and the net but ended up with nothing useful

The only blue clothing authorized for the SA (other than the Marine SA) that I'm aware of was the warm up track suit, which was also worn by political leaders, most party organizations, the military, etc. In 1933 the SA serving with the Prussian police wore blue overcoats but their uniform was standard SA. Can you post the photo to which you're referring?

The part "Special Uniforms" states that " The SA had also adopted a winter blue uniform which was worn only rarely."

and then there is a picture of Viktor Lutze wairing the uniform (or so they say)

any ideas... or just a mistake?

He's wearing his usual custom tailored SA mottled brown uniform in the photo--it does look darker due to the type of film (possibly orthochromatic) and the lighting in the studio.
Always take Wikipedia information with a grain of salt, as anyone can post anything on those pages.

That was my idea aswell! Looks like the regular uniform!

i guess i got carried away a bit too much in the hope of finding out about a uniform i hadn't heard of yet! Damn Wiki
