      Donation can.

The film "Idiocracy" was originally released as a comedy. Now it has been re-released as a documentary.

Hi lulum, and welcome! I assume you know that the donation can you've shown is from "Gau Baden" because it says so on the bottom front of the can, probably in relief. These cans were used to collect for the WHW and for a variety of other so-called charitable causes promoted by the local Gaue. The particular cause being collected for was illustrated by a paper label attached to the front of the donation can, which would be replaced by another label once that collection was finished and the red cans accounted for -- all tightly controlled as each can was numbered. Since the WHW -- the annual national drive sponsored by the Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt (the National Socialist People’s Welfare Organization, or NSV) was itself a charity sponsored by the Nazi government, it was "political" in every sense of the word. Hope these comments are helpful; I like these donation cans, too.
