Hello folks. Here's an odd European coin silver ring I found at the flea market this weekend from a jewelry buyer who got it in a larger lot of older oddball silver rings. I've not seen another like it, and from initial appearances / impressions, it appears to have some legitimate age. The photos do NOT, however, do it justice. The details to Hitler's face are quite remarkable in person. The face is surrounded by a finely detailed oak leaf wreath, and flanked by oak leaf sprigs on either side. The face is also flanked by the raised words "HEIL HITLER". The only marking to the interior is the .800 silver marking. The ring shows some honest wear and patina, and is a man's size. If anyone has come across one of these before and can enlighten me a bit as to whether it's a period piece, I'd appreciate hearing from you. From my quick and limited research, I've not been able to find another like it. Thanks!

It appears I'm not the only one who's never come across another piece like this before, as I've garnered no responses. I'll keep on researching it and eventually will come up w/ some precedence one way or the other, I'm sure. From all appearances however, I'm 99 percent certain it's a period-original piece.

While not the exact pattern, I have seen other Hitler rings in silver and silver plate. These were made prior to 1st quarter 1933 as a sign of support for the NSDAP in numerous elections and as a symbol of celebration after the NSDAP came to power in January 1933. Shortly after, this sort of Kitsch was no longer allowed to be produced.
Your ring looks like it is an original piece judging by the detailing and quality.

THANK YOU gents, for taking the time to comment and for the research link. I very much appreciate it. Also, the presumption that it pre dates January 1933 also makes sense to me, as it DOES appear to be an earlier rendering of Hitlers face, (higher hairline, etc..reminiscent of the '20s imagery). Thanks again!
