Nice display AH Bust.....but chances of it being original are probably pretty slim......This would be so easy to cast (pour).....and is totally untypical of German prewar craftsmanship.....the damages to the nose and ears are most likely casting (pouring in this case) flaws....yet they've been repaired and are painted with the same bronze paint....
Hitler's image was highly regulated and couldn't just be copied (legally) ....
a bust of this type wasn't something you'd buy from a street vender.....and I doubt any self-respecting craftsman would produce a plaster Bust, or that it would have been authorized by the NSDAP....
However....I'm certianly no expert on Hitler Busts.....see what the other's have to say....
Probably alot cheaper than a spelter or bronze one would be....!!!!!

Cheers John for the reply, im afraid the pics do not pick up the damage, the repairs are painted in a black paint diffrent from the original coat, this means nothing to the age of the item but repairs have not been done due to casting flaws, i have herd that these busts were not done during the TR period but im not 100% convinced in this theory , this is my first AH bust so im sure some helpfull members here with more knowledge on these items will reply with there comments, cheers again. Pete.
