Big political Eagle

What do you gentlemen make of this? It is a big, cast eagle about 8 inches wide and 7 inches high.

It isn't very well cast so I'm assuming that it is a post war copy of some description.

I agree, post war. More of these fake cast early style eagles seem to hitting the market as of late.

It came with a bunch of stuff that I picked up this morning from a house clearance contact of mine. It was thrown in as I said it was a fake. Did I pay for it? I guess I did but not much.

Might look good in someone's collection so off to the next military fare.
