Thanks for your input, I was just a bit irritated because of the grenn backing of the shoulderboards. I thought it to be saxony as it was also found there. But then it must be Niedersachsen.
                Thanks, Jens

                  Hi zbV
You have found a nice shirt, congrats

IMO the M138 Weißenfels was not to the MG Niedersachsen, but Sachsen.
There is many errors in the Angolia's "NSKK-NSFK" book.
                  Cheers

Thank you, As for the numbers, I also thought it must be Saxony. Strange that this field is not better known to day.

                      Agree many errors

would be interesting to know what was the information source of the "Standarten" datas in Angolia's book.

                        Shirt

I believe that the green shoulderboard edge falls under the same color scheme as the SA. Therefore, it would be from Sachsen or Nordmark. If the NSKK didn't follow this same color scheme, correct me. But I don't think so. Assuming the shirt is all original, perhaps the Standarte number was duplicated , as in the SA, and the lists are incomplete.

                            Hi
would be interesting to know what was the information source of the "Standarten" datas
I started to collect on the Korps before Angolia's book was published and at this time there was no informations exept on Wehrmacht and ss!
My information is the list of Motorstandarten that I established alone with the monthly magazine " Deutsche Kraftfahrt" and other period documents.

The Korps was organized according to the military system of "Wehrkreise".
Study it with a map and you will understand quickly the error :
Wehrkreis XI = Niedersachsen, Wehrkreis IV = Sachsen

Therefore, it would be from Sachsen or Nordmark
No, MG Nordmark has a number "1" on the shoulder button.
Depending of dates, there was also emerald green colour for :
                            - MG Leipzig with button "2"
                            - Motorbrigade Hamburg with button "3" (both for + or - 1943)
If the NSKK didn't follow this same color scheme, correct me.
I correct you : for example the SA Gruppe Südwest was changing name and colour after 1940 or 1941, the nskk Motorgruppe Südwest did never.

The Motorstandarten numbers was never duplicated, they are geographically located, example :
                            M154 to M159 = Motorgruppe Südwest
                            M160 = Motorgruppe Nordsee
                            M161 to M165 = Motorgruppe Westmark (former Kurpfalz-Saar)

For the history, the highest number I have found is M494 but I don't know where he was (in Austria)
Nice Diensthemd of the period 1936-39
                            Cheers
