Not looking for opinions, but no comments on this one?Its a rare shirt.Anyone have anything to add?All thread is german wartime and insignia originally applied for once! The good thing is the board tabs and zig zag repair stitching on sleeve are all same thread which is very good sign.Only the wearer would reinforce the sleeve like it is,ill post closeups later. All thread on board is attached to shirt,no remnants of other thread anywhere to show reattachment etc,Its all very clean and old.

Very nice! The combination of colours of the insignia is especially pleasing...

I think you mean Westfalen for the SA group--that said, it's a very good looking shirt and you're right, it's pretty hard to find shirts with long service stripes. I remember this one on Collectors' Guild but not the repair--how bad was the damage?

Yes Erich westfalen, made a boo boo there. The repair isnt really a repair its a sleeve reinforcement, and on both sleeves the other is more on inside.so thats good, ,but it wasnt torn or even that worn,,so thats good. And it lent to legitimacy here it is...

That's a normal area for damage--I've had several shirts that had the cuffs removed and reversed so that the worn spots are on the inside of the fold instead of outside. Same on the collars. Also the RZM sold replacement collars and cuffs to be sewn to the shirts--obviously a problem area.
