Looks like a good piece to me -- though I hasten to add that I am certainly no expert on such decorations! It purports to be made by Godet of Berlin, which seems appropriate given the uniqueness of this award and the quality workmanship of the Godet Brothers firm. The enamel work looks pristine on the Maltese Cross and swastika highlights and the entire casting is of .900 silver which has been gilt-fired. I look forward to other responders' notes.

Looks a good piece to me with nice patina based on these pictures.

        Better pictures would be nice!

        Best Regards,

Hi. Here's picture of the DAOs I recently purchased. My first one, so any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

and then the 3rd/5th class... It has also 900 & 21 hallmark on the ring.

Thanks. Kind of comment I was hoping to hear from someone, naturally

I bought these from reputable dealer, so I haven't been worried too much but anyway always good to ask opinions.

Especially the cased one is very nice and not too common, just got one too but without swords:

                        Concur.

Interesting the tell-tale back of the head feather on the first Order which is often more pronounced on Spanish made Eagle Orders.
