    Interesting HJ Ceramic Plate

    Hi all . I just attained this interesting ceramic plate representing HJ campers. I was wondering if anyone else had one and what the history was behind it.Thanks all who reply.

        Were these plates Nazi kitsch or were they legit sanctioned plates by the government post 1933? I find them interesting.

            I think these were made for use by children--I've got a set of Imperial children's plates that are done the same way (central image and surrounding military accoutrements) and some with Grimm's fairy tales motifs.
            Very nice examples and not easy to find in this condition.

                  Thanks.I own the HJ plate.I'm still working on getting the BDM plate.It's really started me thinking about collecting more HJ pieces.

                    I would think the HJ plate should be insured for around $150.00 and for the BdM plate $200.00.
