Hi Guys, I posted this medal in the past but I had the camera out today and decided to take another photo. This non portable medal is one of my favorite pieces in my collection. It was owned by Hitler and later by Fau Winter, Hitler's housekeeper. A special auction was held in 1971 a year after she died of Hitlers personal items including many of his awards. This medal in gold was in that auction and was made by Deschler.

Thanks Gents, it really is a one of a kind piece except for it's mate in silver which is somewhere out there sold at the same auction back in the 70's.Comment
