Waffen SS Presentation Allach Bear

Just in last week, a presentation Allach bear, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts as to the presentation, I can say that it was factory applied as it is under the glaze.

It read's

Ergänzungsamt d. Waffen SS
Ergänzung Stelle IX

I believe it was a department who recruited manpower for the SS, Section IX was located in the Fulda Werra/Kassel area.

He's a cute little bugger as well.

An interesting piece and the first I have seen with an inscription. My question is why use the bear and ball for this award? Also I assume that the writing is not under the glaze?

Interesting, but the subject matter makes no sense to me. You would think the presentation would be on a plate of vase rather than a playful bear figure.

Even if it DID make sense, there's no way on earth that the bear left the SS Allach factory with a dedication that poorly done.
