Would be grateful if anyone give an opinion on this arm band ?

Hard to say but I suspect it's an original woven roundel mounted on a new piece of red felt. The roundel shows wear and tear and discoloration, whereas the red fabric looks brand new (and too thick and fuzzy).

I think that it's a fake.
Yes, the roundel could be authentic, but still, someone could've made it look like it's suffered some wear and tear.

Gents, thanks for your options and views on this item .
The arm band belongs to a friend of mine , a recent buy along with a few other items.
The band material and the nature of the seam at the back did make me wonder , but I hated being the bearer of bad news to a friend.
