The seller lives in Poland beware.
Not to insult any Polish people here, but for decades we all know what is going on in Poland, IMHO they are the World Leaders in the Reproduction of EVERYTHING ! I would not touch his auctions, even if he did have more than 2 feedback

Probably a late 80's piece, out of Germany. The "velvet stirndruckfrei" system is a weak imitation of Pekuros. The visor trim is wrong, the underside of the visor is wrong, the "velvet" on the band is incorrect, the lining, etc. Aside from maybe the wreath, this is a fake from the ground up--no original parts.

Look at the pinned threads on the headgear forum for detecting the fakes.

for the PL I think the visor ren says a lot about the fact that it is a copy

I went back into my archives--the white-top is actually an early Alteste, so it has some value, as some collectors collect Altestes.

The hat would date from the late 50's to the early 60s.
