What could be the everage value today of such a cap ?
The seller is asking 3000 €uro, IMO really too high priced for such a cap!
OK it's not common, but a very few collectors are interested in the SA-Marine or SA...
Thanks for thoughts

I haven't seen one offered for a long time (and I watch because I own one).
Last (4/23/06 at 11:00 A.M. E.S.T.) was described as such:
"87.German WW2 Marine-SA visor cap. Extremely rare hat that is never seen anymore. Cap is dark navy blue with a black mohair band. Has gold pebbled side buttons and an SA style chinstrap. Gold eagle and wreath insignia with "SA" cockade inside wreath. Visor is a naval style. Interior of cap is dark blue polished cotton. Has dark brown sweatband with RZM tag underneath. Sweatshield is mostly intact but has cracks. Hat size is about a 56 or 57. Has a large floppy naval that really looks good on a mannequin head. No mothing. If you ever wanted one of these, this is a rare chance to own a beautiful example. Choice! $3200"
So that was five years ago. Frankly, it's easier to find an SS officer's visor for sale than one of these. Rick

Its a RZM regulation following cap with early tag, what is not often available, sure updated, but that's really not a problem !Straßburger / When in doubt do without...
