1923 Gau Badge

Our latest buy has a 1923 Gau Badge in it. UNFORTUNATELY, the veteran GLUED the badge on a board and, in the process of removing it years ago, lost the pin and catch. Wreath slightly bent and no damage to the enamel. IT was mint and now is in rather nice condition, sans pin and catch. Proper markings.

I've never seen an Alpacca marked version either--very neat! And that stickpin miniature is also a tough one to find.

Interesting. Are there two German spellings of Alpaka? I've never seen this version before.

I have also not seen this version before. My book on Gau Ehrenzeichen is about ready to go to Schiffer, and I would greatly appreciate having the chance to photograph this badge so I can put it in my book. Thanks in advance, Ron!
