NS-RKB Leader Armband

Hello to all,

I bought this NS-RKB armband this weekend. Not exactly sure what the silver tress stripe is supposed to signify. (I assume some rank or position within the organization above that of a basic member.) I also thought it is neat to see the gold metal NS-RKB Badge attached to the armband. From time to time I have seen other examples where the badge is attached to the armband but I have no idea if this was a common practice of the period or something done by collectors. I welcome any comments or information about these armbands.

It's a nice original. The silver braid refers to a rank Mitglieds des Beirats and the attached Kyffhässer Ehrenzeichen is according to the wearing regulations of 1938.
