A Nazi Travels to Palestine, Angriff Newspaper Medal

Medal struck in 1933 when Goebbles sent a Nazi journalist crew to Palestine to do a write up for his "Angriff" newspaper.
Struck in bronze and approx 34mm. The legend reads " A Nazi Travels to Palestine".
Thought I would share, not one you see often.

I was not aware that the National Socialists referred to themselves as 'NAZIS'

It was always a term used by their opponents, and was considered a slur.

I think you would have to look long and hard to find that acronym on any official NSDAP award, tinnie, etc..
