Friends of New Germany, a Nazi American organization was founded in 1933 under the leadership of Heinz Spanknobel.

Organization was very active in NY, Chicago and Detroit.

On March 19, 1936, Hitler placed an American citizen, Fritz Julius Kuhn, as the head of the party. The group's name was then changed to the Americadeutscher Bund (German American Bund).

Tremendous pieces of rare and historic US history here, many thankx for posting.

Myself, I have a very small selection of equally rare and historic Canadian Nazi Party material, to include some very unique IDs. A few years ago, I was able to contact a relative of the male nurse personally assigned to the infamous Canadian Fascist Leader Adrien Arcand ("Google" the name), while Arcand spent time in Canadian detention during WW2. From this relative I was able to obtain various artifacts hand-made by Arcand (such as his personal wooden cigarette case, pieces of insignia from his original Fascist Leaders uniform, etc). The relative was also kind enough to provided (in writing) the complete history / background of the material in question, providing priceless provenance.

This is some great stuff, worthy of any collection of North American Bund material! I'd love to find something like this but I don't think they were that active in the south of the US.
