REICHSADLER / table eagle with marble base

    Hi,

what do you think about that pattern?

I didnt saw it as original neither as fake.

I do not have it in hand, and have no more pics of it

    All opinions are welcome!

            Niblet,

that style you showed is often seen as fake. They are mostly made from lead.

I never saw that style of my eagle as a period one, thats right. And the reason I showed it here

What I didnt saw at fakes is the quality of the marble base and the details of mine. So I´m really not sure what to think about it

Maybe I will buy it and look close on it (is it hollow, plated, construction of mounting, etc).

            Thanks
            Udo

If this is a Modern Fake it sure has great detail, compared to most of the repro's

The Nuremberg desk eagle, came in 3 different styles.
The one posted by Udo is a different variant, abeit as a cast copy.
