This is a hi-quality gilt alloy peaked cap eagle marked ges. Gesch. Condition is great & i'm pretty much certain it's good but seek confirmation 'coz i may e-stand it.

Also, i thought these didn't typically have the anchor? Does that make it scarcer, and what's a fair value?

The anchor is for naval veterans if im not mistaken. It's a nice piece, valued at perhaps US$40-55 since the condition is acceptable with GES GESCH patent marking. There is also a more sought after larger breast pin version.

That cloth eagle is missing in my collection...its very nice!

Ron is your metal breasteagle vaulted? I have one that seems to be made by the same maker and is nicely vaulted. My second example is flat.
