        Pascal, If this is the real deal, (which IMO it is) this would be the first one anybody has seen. We need the TeNo expert Dave to weight in on this. I think you have a rare find here.

        Best Regards, Mike

            That is the first color pic of one I have ever seen--looks like the real deal to me. To my knowledge, these were never reproduced/faked either. Congrats on having the rarest of the rare....

                Pascal, Is the TeNo emblem in the center the same size as a TeNo member's pin? It looks larger.

                Regards, Mike

                  Super TeNo Gorget ! CONGRATS

                  Hallo Pascal !

                  Congratulations & Thanks for posting your TeNo Gorget !
                  This gorget is a seldom seen gorget & it is quite a pleasure to see it & to be able to examine it.

                  The construction follows what is known from the TR historical record for the TN Gorget:

                  * Domed 'heart shaped' construction with rebated edge;
                  * 15 cogs for the central roundel;
                  * 9 cogs for the 2 corner post roundels;
                  * 8 rays for the central star;
                  * White leather circle for the central element backing;
                  * Central TeNo 'red enamel pin' for the center element;
                  * Link chain type neck support;

                  [*] Metal type used - the original TeNo regulations specified Nickle-Silver as the metal for construction. From your foto, it does look like Nickle-Silver to my eye, but only you can determine if it is constructed of
                  Nickle-Silver, or if it is made of Aluminum?[*] The Regs. also specified the use of a Nickle-Silver chain for this gorget ...

                  Reverse: Is quite fascinating to see. Since the gorget is a definite Domed type - I had imagined that the reverse would also be Domed. But, the reverse foto looks to be Flat, to my eyes? "IF" this is indeed correct - then a 2nd metal piece would need to be attached to the reverse to make it Flat.
                  QUESTION: ?? Does the Reverse of the Gorget follow the DOME shape? Or, is it a FLAT surface?
                  [I am not able to determine this aspect when I study the fotos. Thanks!

                  Many Thanks for sharing your SUPER TeNo Gorget with us! ... Dave / dblmed

                          CONGRATS! Caracciola

                          Merci Beaucoups Caracciola !

                          CONGRATULATIONS for your TeNo Relic Gorget !
                          Owning a Relic is better than having NO example.

                          Your TeNo Gorget confirms many of the design characteristics as shown in Pascal’s
                          posting. Plus your Maker’s Emblem P. MEYBAUER BERLIN - is unique - the very
                          1st one seen! Congrats!

                          Caracciola - In examining your TeNo Gorget, you are in a special circumstance to
                          see it & understand its construction.
                          (1) Perhaps you will be able to help us understand “HOW” that the corner COG /
                          ZAHNRAD & central POST was constructed?
                          (2) I have listed & shown some “Theories” but only you can tell us which is correct
                          [as I have never examined a TeNo Gorget.]
                          (3) I do not wish for you to disassemble the corner COG / ZAHNRAD & central
                          POST ! !
                          (4) Perhaps you can slip a Paper Clip gently under the structural elements - &
                          determine “IF” they are SOLID or HOLLOW & “IF” 1 or 2 Parts?.

                          IF you can do this - it would answer a LOT of questions!!!
                          IF you can not do this, that is fine & OK also.
                          CONGRATS! ... Best Wishes, Dave / dblmed

                              I do what I can... here are 2 radiographies of my gorget.

                              Is there any doctor to help my friend Dave ?

                              Thank you very much.
