Look like his tools, all negative for impressions on book covers or so ?

They look like bookbinders' tools for stamping and gold foil work on leather and cloth.
                  That is a fantastic find!

Linotype. For printing newspapers, brochures , public notices and the like. I have nazi swastikas used by our newspapers here during the war also of linotype . Nice find, I was hoping they were dies, but still a great find. Now go get a stamp pad, and print some out of each example on paper.

Not linotype--linotype was an automatic type machine for newspapers that used molten lead/tin to cast lines of type. These pieces are not for printing, as they're too large and have no 'screening'. Newspaper illustrations are usually either screened, engraved or etched with a linear pattern of some sort, or are done in outlined form.
