Well, that´s it. I hope this assortment of photos from this SA book (which was published in 1938) was interesting and maybe helpful for further information and research.

                          Hello Ivbaust,
Thanks for posting the pics from the Illustrierter Beobachter" - Special Edition "Die SA". I also think it is great SA reference (and period building eagle reference) and I too was recently able to find myself one also with its original dust jacket showing that it was priced at a reasonable (in 1938) 1.5 Deutsche Marks. Here are a couple of my favorite pages,
                          Best Regards,
                          Michael

                                Hi,

Thanks for showing some excellent pics from this period magazine/book.
To me, this is probably a better reference source than recently published books aimed at the collector's market.
I bought my copy about nine years ago in a curio shop in Minden, Westfalen.
The owner had a stack of these and other VB "specials" about three feet high in a corner of his shop!
Bought the publication featured in this thread, and a few others for 20 Euro each.
He must have had multiple copies of all the VB specials, wish I had bought a few of each.

                                Best wishes,

                                John.
