        Hey Totenhead, i have an eagle just like that one. I researched it and found out what it was by looking up the numbers on the back of it. I believe it actuallly goes on the left collar, atleast thats what it said. if i find the link ill show it to you.

              Sorry but you provided some wrong info. This was for a cap insignia and not the collar tab eagle worn by the NSDAP.
              The eagle insignia came in various manufacturer markings and M1/44 came from C. Dinsel, Berlin.
