    Frei die saar 1935 medal

    Picked this medal up a few days ago, never seen one before, whats the medal for? Any advice i can get would be great.

      Here is my cased award. I think these are lovely medals. They were awarded for the plebicite, but other than that I know nothing about them

        These coins were also issued, in bronze and silver. I don`t know if there was a gold issue. Anyone?

          I realize that this info is very late but all of these pieces are WHW related. They belong to Gau 40 Westmark. The Sarr medal is quite rare as Tieste values it @ 250 Euros. The boxed coin came only in bronze and silver...far more common and less valuable than the medal.

          I hope that someone finds this info...
