Without a hands-on inspection, it looks like an original early kepi with replaced chinstrap and side buttons.

                Thanks Erich,

What do these change hands for ? I know this is the age old "what" question, but this is not my area so any help would be great.
                Thanks in advance
                Kyle

In this condition, and of course assuming it's good, $500.00 to 600.00 would be realistic. The chinstrap will be tough if not impossible to find (reproductions are available, but originals are very difficult to come by) and original side buttons are also not common.
I would say that if it was listed on a dealer's site, the price would be higher, but I don't think it would bring much more as it stands, depending on the dealer.
