Thank you Gerdan, but this is the Medal of the Social Welfare Order.
I meant the third class white enamaled cross with swords.

when you do not agree with the pic I sent you than you could mean another order but not "Ehrenzeichen für deutsche Volkspflege mit Schwertern" ?

            Hi,

"Ehrenzeichen für deutsche Volkspflege 3. Klasse mit Schwertern auf dem Bande" from 1942, RGBl 1942, page 67:

              Hello all.
Gerdan, your picture is fine but the swords were authorized for both last classes to the Social Welfare Order, the third class and the medal. I need pictures of the third class. The picture on the link refers to the medal.

              Terry O´Toole:
Thank you but it´s not the German Eagle Order I need.

              Uwe:
That is the decoration I mean.
              Thank you all!

Uwe, is there any additional information about the swords i.e. gold or silver? I've seen a reference to gold regarding the 3rd class, but I have a single ribbon bar with the swords in silver.

                cheers
                Peter

                  Hi Peter,

I could not find an official answer.

The OEK show pictures with swords in silver for the (silvery) Medal and in gold for the (golden) 3. Stufe.

You can find the same colours here on the ribbon bars:

                  http://www.medals.pl/de/de3.htm

In another publication no difference is visible, both look bronze:

Thanks Uwe, the OEK reference appears to be a more plausible scenario, as the 2nd link presents all swords in a similar apparence (including the KVK).

                    cheers
                    Peter
