    Well, it has been electrified.

Your Sippenleuchter is a very well made specialty for sure!

Now I´m eagerly waiting for a pic of the other side.

Ah, it was my first thought, but I didn't see the cord in the background.

      Thank you. Here you go.

Minnesinger, a nice looking piece, I was tempted to pursue that one as well.

Darius, the wrought iron piece, the top of the two you showed. Now that one has always puzzled me. A very 'Jugendstil' scrolling leafy looking design but with the circled runes welded into the centre, in my eyes this SS motif does not sit comfortably there. Welded onto the central twist stem, only one twist, what the point of one twist? It just looks like the central stem has been cut and the SS part welded in. Also the handwork between the runic circle and the Jugendstil part does not match well, the piece is reasonably well made but then the runic part has some average looking welding, not that average welding is a problem, only that it looks out of place here. I could be wrong of course and maybe it just doesn't suit my taste aesthetically, plenty of rubbish (in my view) was made in the TR as well as any other time.

Now Darius is going to tell me the picture is guaranteed pre-45, which would just prove they made some bad looking pieces, but perhaps only in my opinion, others might love it?

Knowing how deep your pockets run, I'm glad you didn't.

I have to agree with Steve regarding that candleholder - the dealer in question has good pieces but also offers very crude (SS-)fakes and this is unfortunately one of them.

                          ...and I mean big.

And it´s number of candles is no coincidence, either.

14 - On the 14th birthday the Piglet becomes a Man-Pig and so a big party is held with a really big candle holder.

Well, that might be the Juleber then to which Weitzel is refering to.
