A little info please

Hi everyone, I wonder if I could get some info on this badge I have had in my attic for years. I've never taken any notice of it really but thought I might get it checked out,

I couldnt find a way to attach photos on the forum so I have posted a link instead.

From what I have found out this is some sort of political badge dated 1939, a little more info would be nice and also what to expect if I were to sell it?

There are no visible stamps or markings on it but is does have quite a hefty weight, I have no idea of the metal.

This is a Gau Wartheland Ehrenzeichen

This is one of the most attractive gau badges and the nicest one IMO.

Sadly, your's is not genuine, there should be blue enamel on the swaz and the 1939 date for example.
And the needle is wrong, way to thin and most of these badges where numbered. Rudolf Souval made some of them
pre war with your pin set up, but his badges where enameled and in higher quality.

Do you think it would it be of any value to a collector?? Now I know what it is I may put it up for sale but not sure for how much?
