Got this great 5" by 7" original NSFK GLIDER photo dated June 21 1937 on ebay fortunately I was the only bidder! look close for the Baskenmuetze beret on the guy pushing the wing,got some great type on the back this is teh translation:

"The Germany flight in 1937 has begun! On this current Sunday the Germany flight carried out by the nationalsocialist airman's corps began in 1937.
An engine is pushed to the starting place on the airport Rangsdorf."

Great original photo and supporting items! However, the aircraft in the opening photo appears to be motorized, not a glider design.

The NSFK was more than just a glider organization. It had a motorized section in addition to the gliders.

Yes it is motorized tehy used both light aircraft and gliders.Sorry I misquoted in description.
