Its a smasher,if you can help me? do the pins all run north to south or can they
be east to west why I ask is a well know dealer has 6 for sale all have the pins
running across the badge E to W.

I agree the badge looks fine. Every 2nd pattern hollow-back I've seen looks just like this one. Nice!!

As for the 1st pattern S-A Treffen badge, be VERY careful, as there are many fakes galore of this insignia.
