    NSDAP enamel sign - What were these used for?

    Hi guys

    I see these signs pop up every now and then for sale and am curious as to exactly what they were used for?

    They used to hang outside where NSDAP, and organizations under NSDAP would held their meetings, i'm assuming these was public meetings? They would write on them when the meetings would be held.

        nice catch. This board is depicted on page 113 of Wilhelm Saris book about enamel signs. The open spaces were for filling in names and hours of business when people with questions could meet certain NSDAP officials. so it's rather for making appointments then for announcing events.
