Photos From A Goldenes Parteiabzeichen träger

    Hello,

I'm posting these photos for a fellow political collector (mick1st71)

They are most interesting, with family photos with HJ, SS Totenkopf and a Heer Goldenes Parteiabzeichen träger.

Thanks for taking the time to post these images.

Seeing how many people from this family were in the German military only tells about the heart ache of loss for the parents as the war progressed to conclusion.

They all look so happy from the early days of social upsweep of promise.

I wonder if there are any images of those left after the war of what there faces looked like from all the horror.

Regarding the subject of hisotrical study of their uniforms, the M-16 helmet I believe it is, is a superb example of use of surplus helmets during the ramp up of the 30's.

If there's any info on his GPB & possibility to obtain it, what a fabulious historical grouping that would make.

Anyone have a grouping of GPB, uniform, helmet and implements attributed to one person from the early years, specifically Heer?

Interesting that he is not wearing his GPB in pic 2, or is it airbrushed out?
