Looks like junk to me but wanted to make sure this wasn't a button from some political organization. Please let me know either way. Thank you.

I would say NOT TR period, not sure if it's fantasy but it might be button from around WW1 when this symbol was looked at as luck.

Could be a non-regulation button made pre-1933 when manufacturers like Assmann made their own unregulated designs to sell to various paramilitary groups.
